Initially designed for the “Ciel de Paris” restaurant in the French capital's Tour Montparnasse, this sleek armchair design steals the show in any space, be it residential or commercial. Part of a high-end collection designed by French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance for Tabisso, the modernly elegant armchair was displayed at Milan Design Week 2014.  Sensual curves provoke admiration, while the customization offers a multitude of options for elements like the shell, fabric, footing, swivel and casters. Made to order, this new version of the sleek armchair design was designed with environmental issues in mind.

Here is how the designer imagined the elegant armchair: “Lines are stretched, subtle, fluid, for a welcoming and generous result. The plywood shell molded in 3D, with various essences looses itself in the thickness of the lining, giving a warm & neat aspect. From the conception to the choice of material, sustainable development is a priority. This chair is the first example of this 3D molded technology in France.” Tabisso describes the sleek armchair design as defined by uncompromising beauty: “The shell in 3D-veneer of various wood species gradually disappears in the foam structure of the armchairs, giving them this warm yet sophisticated touch. ” sleek armchair design

Charming Modern Home Extension Re-Shaping Socializing Opportunities

Hosted at. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/FreshInspirationForYourHome/~3/EtKkb04bBv4/

Extending a home to fit current needs is not to be taken easily. A modern home extension requires planning for future use and using what already exists to support that. An exemplary proof is Casa ATT by Dionne Arquitectos, a home in Puebla, Mexico, that was re-designed by the architects as a fuller, more nurturing collection of spaces. In their successful effort of renewing the outline of the house, architects integrated the new structure into the familiar floor plan by “generating clear transitional environments discovering visual axes and circulation leading to the new spaces.”

Plenty of socializing areas bring the family together: the new open social space, terrace and guest bedroom complete the necessary space and helps better organize the interiors. In addition, the terrace overlooking the garden connects the original volume with the new additions. In these photos captured by Patrick López Jaimes, the layout looks beautifully put together. From the front, the house looks private and once you step inside, details flood your design-hungry mind. According to the architects, “ATT House is a house in which a clear spatial harmony lives through environments that invite habitation.”

What do you think about this modern home extension? Can this home inspire you to extend your own piece of heaven? mo
